Perhaps the best kept secret in Calgary is the diversity and vibrancy of it's communities. This summer, we took over the @lifeincalgary Instagram account to provide our perspective on this great city. There are so many awesome things to do in Calgary and we thought we should highlight a few of our faves.

Here are some of the photos from that takeover:

If you didn't already know, we are the workshop and retail outpost for Calgary's own CoutuKitsch and Camp Brand Goods. This big red barn in Inglewood holds some significant history and we are happy to call it home!

Since the shop is closed on Mondays, we like to jam an entire weekend’s worth of fun into a #liverydayoff. We are so fortunate to live in the shadow of the Canadian Rockies.
Here are our beloved shop dogs, Otis and Brutus enjoying a day out of the office up at Rockbound Lake.

The shop is co-owned by two locally-based small businesses. CoutuKitsch is a vintage inspired jewelry is hand-crafted and curated in our shop. We are obsessed with their Boho necklace! Be sure to take a peek at their unique statement pieces next time you stop by!

Camp Brand Goods is comfortable, adventure apparel inspired by the Canadian Rockies. If there’s one thing your Camp gear will guarantee, it’s good times. Stop by and check out the Summer collection in store.

There’s only one way to kick off your morning in Inglewood - with a quick pick me up from Rosso Coffee Roasters. When you wake up with good coffee, it's always a beautiful day in the neighbourhood.

Our pals over at Plant have one of the coolest places to hang out and shop on the block. If you have seen anything budding in our store, it’s probably since we can’t walk by without going in! Stop in and say hi next time you are in the neighbourhood.

People of the world, please spice up your life over at The Silk Road Spice Merchant. The smell alone is worth the visit! If you look closely you may even spot their latest collaboration with Camp Brand Goods.

On weekends, our staff like to explore the neighbourhood and it's adjacent treasures. Just a quick bike ride away from the barn, the Simmons Building is one of our favourite places to stop for a bite. Who could resist the tasty creations from Sidewalk Citizen, Char Bar & Phil & Sebastian.

All summer long, or at least when it's been nice out, we've been trying to get outside. One of our favourite green spaces is on St. Patrick’s Island. It's the perfect place to picnic, hang out, or grab a frisbee and have yourself a great time.

Shoutout to The Coup for having us covered for lunch most Saturdays. What would we do without you guys? This is the perfect spot for healthy and delicious veggie and vegan options in the city!

You have to follow up lunch with dessert! Here’s to one of the best tasting cheers in the city. No weekend is complete without a prescribed dose of Village Ice Cream!

In order to close out our Saturdays, we really dig the cocktails at Cannibale in Bridgeland. Definitely worth the trip for the taste, vibe, and patio in the summer.

Sunday mornings are reserved for coffee and downtime. Edworthy Park is such a gorgeous spot for an adventurous, leisurely morning jaunt (and within city limits no less!)

This summer, we made a point of capitalizing on having the main artery of the Bow River running through town. These stand up paddle boards from Tower Paddle Boards turned out to be a fantastic investment. We spent many a Sunday hanging out on the river this year.

Thanks for following along with us! Hopefully this will give you a few fun ideas to test out when the nice weather rolls around again. We'll be ready for it when it does. See you around YYC.
