Finally, after years of waiting, the new Central Library has opened its doors. Kicking off their grand opening, they have a full weekend of fantastic activities for the whole family to enjoy. Calgary Transit has graciously waved the transit fees from 7am to 7pm in honour of the Library’s opening, so if anything, take advantage of that. Opening at 9am, enjoy the free hot chocolate, the abundance of performances and the food trucks parked outside.

Celebrate decades of incredible songwriting and overwhelming groove with the haunting voice of Stevie Nicks, the drumming of Mick Fleetwood and John McVie on the bass guitar with some new members at the Calgary Saddledome. We are always looking to do wonderful things in our neighbourhood. Workshop ceramics is hosting a “Wheel and Wine” Date Night on November 16th and you should be there. Wine will be brought to you by the connoisseurs over at Vine Arts and a DJ will be spinning beats while you and bae spin clay in your seats.
